Dr Ian Gatt

PhD | MSc | OMT | MAACP | MCSP | BSc(Hons)

Ian has been a physiotherapist for over 24 years, with a substantial period spent leading the support services for Great Britain Boxing. He has attended various major competitions, including Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Ian is an Upper Limb Injury Specialist with the UK Sports Institute, providing an advisory role to Olympic and Paralympic Sports. He is also the physiotherapist/cutman with team Anthony Joshua and other professional boxers. Further, he provides private specialist consultations to both sporting and non-sporting clientele, with a focus on Upper Limb musculoskeletal complex cases.


Ian has a passion for teaching delivering regular worldwide educational workshops, webinars, at conferences, and on university programmes. He contributes to research, having also completed a PhD in Upper Limb Biomechanics. Ian posts regularly on his social medial feeds, aiming to educate on #learningtogether #allabouttheupperlimb.

Thomas Mitchell

Thomas is a highly experienced physiotherapist with previous roles in sports, private practice and first-contact work in primary care. He is an aspiring researcher, nearing completion of his PhD into 'non-traumatic wrist disorders' at Sheffield Hallam University. Thomas teaches post-graduate physiotherapists on 'The Complete Upper Limb Course' and teaches modern application of Mobilisation with Movement and symptom modification as the UK's Mulligan Concept teacher.
